  1. Ha estado toda la tarde a chaparrones.
  2. Acaba de caer un chaparrón tremendo.
  3. Me ha cogido el chaparrón en la calle y me he puesto pingando.

1.He has been all afternoon in showers.
2. A tremendous downpour has just fallen.
3. I have caught the shower in the street and I got all wet.
